THE POWER OF YOGA: Yoga is an ancient practice that unites the mind, body, and spirit and holds immense power. Its history dates back over 5,000 years, originating in India as a means to achieve enlightenment. Today, millions of people around the world practice yoga to improve their physical, mental, and emotional well-being. The asanas, or postures of yoga, help to increase flexibility, strength, and balance, while pranayama, or breathing exercises, promote relaxation and reduce stress. When practiced in presence, yoga helps us practice living in the present moment, letting go of negativity, and cultivating gratitude. Its power lies in its ability to transform us from the inside out. It can be practiced in brief or expanded timeframes, making it a perfect practice to ease into your days and lead us toward a healthier, happier, and calmer state of being.
