When there is no desire. All things are at peace -Tao Te Ching 37

Yes. When there is no desire. All things are at peace -Tao Te Ching 37 Have you heard that saying that material and money are important until you meet a person for whom they are not? So much of our world is pushing the idea that we need this house, this lifestyle, this job, this marriage, these kids, these vacations, this car… The truth is to have a joy-filled heart and life we actually “need” very little. As we release these desires of material goods we feel more peace. The work of decluttering also supports this openness of the heart. Focusing our desire on things the bring sincere joy to our life, home, and world rather than things that provide us with a sense of societal accomplishment, a quick happy hit, or positive comparison helps to open our heart and fill it with peace.
