I’ve been reflecting so much lately on the divisiveness and fear that are being utilized to further separate us. It is not surprising in some ways that those who build a practice around ideas of worthy and unworthy, redemption and redeemers, saved and not, whole and broken... create a system in which we can further separate ourselves from “the other". When we are so willing to leave out in our religious practice, why not to in life? Our journey with others becomes an in or out, we operate through disgust and pity, rather than acceptance and partnership. Yet, as I read through these books of wisdom one idea is emphasized through them all. Every single person is worthy and whole. And when we sit in quiet we can connect to this truth within ourselves and then within those with whom we share this earth. These books also emphasize the core truth that we are better when working together, when looking through a lens of compassion and understanding. We are all connected to each other. Love runs through each of us, and as we drop our fear and desire to be part of the right ideas and open our eyes and hearts to see that we are part of the one that is creation, we connect to this truth and are able realize and express the wonder, beauty, and oneness in our self, in our world, in us all. My prayer is that I can get closer to this awareness and action each day. May we all. 🙏❤️✨
We are all worthy. We are all love. We are all, already redeemed.
